In an interview with MTV, Jared Hess gives Michael praise for his work on the upcoming “Gentlemen Broncos.” Read what he has to say!

MTV: We’ve been watching these solid Michael Angarano performances for years. Is this finally the movie that’s going to make him a household name?

Hess: Yeah, he’s been under the radar for a while, but he’s such an incredible actor. He’s super talented and does a great job in the film. I’m a big fan of “Snow Angels.” I really love him in that film. But what I most remembered seeing him in was this movie back in the day, the “Super Dave” movie. He was little Super Dave, and although it has nothing to do with “Gentleman Broncos,” it was a pretty rad movie.

We may be getting closer to a real release date for Michael’s movie “Gentlemen Broncos” as it has just been announced that the film will open the annual Fantastic Fest this year on September 24, 2009. Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the country, specializing in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and action films. Director Jared Hess and Michael’s co-star Jermaine Clement are confirmed to attend, no word on whether Michael will attend as well, but let’s keep our fingers crossed!
